March Live Workshop on Zoom

Thank you everyone for your patience with this workshop, I was not able to get all the reminder emails out as per usual as we have just moved into our "farmhouse on wheels" in the countryside. I literally just got my computer set up before the session and had not picked up a paintbrush since the February workshop! 🤪

(The tips of my fingers are still numb from using a belt sander day and night and working 15 hours a day to get the reno and move completed on time). 😄😄😄

WORKSHOP SUMMARY:

  • Upcoming Daffodil class |12 months of Birth Flowers Series
  • Creating a Spring Watercolor post card inspired by the countryside
  • (demo of quick easy birds nest, Bluebells and Cowslips/Primrose)
  • Botanical book club - Readers Digest - Magic and Medicine of Plants copyright 1986 - flip through and thoughts on content and illustrations.

This month we created a lovely little postcard using the Strathmore watercolor post card pad, which contains 15 4 x 6 cold pressed  140 lb. postcards. You could create the same layout of just try one of the three elements used in the demo.  If you are brand-new just try the birds nest. If you are experienced try all three and add something of your own too.

HERE'S THE REPLAY:
